I am looking forward to the month of May and the end of these April showers! Mother’s Day is celebrated in the month of May here in the US and where I grew up, Appalachia. I was fascinated to learn recently that Anna Jarvis, an Appalachian woman, was the driving force to establish Mother’s Day.
