Great article from Tom Blomfield @t_blom on taking risks. Tom poses an interesting question, “Young people who consider starting businesses are discouraged and the vast majority of our smart, technical graduates take “safe” jobs at prestigious employers. I am trying to figure out why that is.” As parents, wanting the “best” for our kids could push them to choose the “safe” option. I think a paradigm shift as parents could be a significant factor to help the next generation not be risk adverse. Would love to hear your thoughts on this one!
