Tom poses an interesting question, &#8220;Young people who consider starting businesses are discouraged and the vast majority of our smart, technical graduates take \u201csafe\u201d jobs at prestigious employers. I am trying to figure out why that is.&#8221; As parents, wanting the &#8220;best&#8221; for our kids could push them to choose the &#8220;safe&#8221; option. I think a paradigm shift as parents could be a significant factor to help the next generation not be risk adverse.
